SOUTH WEST RIDERS AIMS AND OBJECTS

Recognizing that the arterial highways of Devon have become too dangerous for safe horse riding we aim to :-

1. Press for the creation of safe alternative equestrian routes including disused railway lines.

2.To link up to existing bridleways to facilitate their increased use.

3. Recognize the legitimate needs and concerns of the landowners affected and work towards ensuring any routes are satisfactory to them and that they are adequately compensated.

4. To work closely and co-operate fully with all statutory bodies involved to achieve our aim.

5. To ensure that this is achieved as soon as possible and avoid unnecessary delays
